James David Smith and William Browne are both recent graduates of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where they studied with John Mills, Christopher Stell and Graham Devine. During their time at college, each received the Stuart Cohen Prize for their individual achievements and dedication and passed with 1st Class Honours in 2009.
Both musicians share a passion for chamber music and have vast experience in ensemble playing with flute, piano, voice, trio and quartet.
The duo perform a diverse range of music – from Bach to Brouwer – and have recently commissioned a new work from the Welsh guitarist/composer Daniel Jones.
